yeah, trim extenders, all they really r is just longer stoppers. of course u knew that. but if u put 1/4" on, u lose 1/4" on down trim. they r screwed on/off. i don't remember, did u not have a plate before. maybe earlier when u couldn't get bow lift, it could be that u were too high n losing bite. how's ur speed n rpm's now?

i wanna fine tune mine too but before i do anything, i need to fix the steering shaft bushings n if............ . a big if........... for some lucky reason i win some kind of money, then i'll hydro tec mine. i should've done it when i had the funds 3yrs ago.

if u ever replace it call me, i'd like to watch and learn!  I'm still trying to tune my setup.  it lifts like a mutha when lightly loaded.

I'm looking for a 14-16ft deep v with a 30horse myself just to beat around on the croix for walleyes.  That'll make this my 4th watercraft.    

That is a nice rig though, you've got everything in there.  Now learn how to leadcore and etc and you'll be heaven!
