What a freakn great day!!!

white people thought i was participating in their tournament-NEXT YEAR!
caught 4 bass and 3 pike.
hit a log or two or three
Broke my ducer-there goes 200bucks!
burned 30 gallons of gas-kinda have the plate tuned
got stuck numerous times-thank you push-pole!
trolling motor started to get very weak at 2pm
received a bad ass burn

That sums up my day

SUCKS!!!!!!!

Oh yeah, biggest bag from St.Judes today over 28lbs, A lot of bags pushing 24lbs+, big fish over 5lbs and that is day 1.

Gonna be a tough one.  Things can change in a weeks time.   :kermit:

dude, just think for a minute. temps r right about 54-55 degrees. what's that tell u, prespawn, staging, baitfish. they're looking for cover at the moment n feeding hard just before the spawn. water clarity sucks, like 8-10", so bass r rather shallow, less then 6' or so n when they do hold to cover, they will be tight against the cover. so if u pitch to cover, make sure ur bait gets to the cover. the bass ain't gonna move far to come get ur bait unless u're cranking n they're following the vib to find ur lure.

bring in that KICKER fish.  The brownish yellow bottom feeder that can weight over 10lbs easy!  Three of those and you will have all of us beat!!  ;D

its tough, keep at it.  Like I told you, I always struggle on pre-fish!   ;)
