^ I'll ride the 1098 for sure.  life insurance? Not planning to die bro.  & ankle socks? You don't have to be geared up every time.  Take your time nick picking the pics bro.  hahaha.. I use to ride with just shorts & shades on & shirtless.  My first ride on a 1098.. can't wait.

Uh oh...
Did you actually post, " You don't have to be geared up every time. I use to ride with just shorts & shades on & shirtless."

Don't get bent out of shape here. So what of you buddy does track days. Who doesn't? I mean your pal could be doing track days and still be in the beginers group for all I know. Don't get me wrong, track days are a great tool to hone your skills, but, you miss out on reading the changes in road topography and when the corners may decrease on your apex. Those can't be taught on a track where the corners are all the same and the traction is optimal.

Now, if you're saying ATGAT is a bad thing, then what catagory are you in?

I hope it's not this group...

Don't give away too much info to guys who wear the protective gear.

No need to nit pick, bro.  No gear?  Common sense.

Come to think of it...not sure if I should let you ride my 1098 S, knowing you ride without proper gear, nor not having a whole lot of experience.  If you do kick the bucket, how many cows should put on order for the funeral?  See?  Insurance does wonders...

I believe this does come down to you trying to prove who has more experience.  Never a game I wanted to play.  Life insurance?  Of course I have that.  Gear?  Of course I know what proper gear is.  I am reckless when I ride bro, if you can't deal with it thats coo but it doesn't have to do with experience.  You want to take the trophy for experience & want to prove things on here go right ahead. I don't want to turn this thread to a bashing thread. ;)

^  hehehe its just all this talk about I better have life insurance & I got this bike & that bike & its fully insured then later saying wait you can't ride it.  I actually just want to ride it & beat the crap out of it.  It'll be fun.  I might not ride as reckless as when I was 18 but it'll still be close to it.

Anyone else got pics to show?  Any pics with you next to your bike/bikes?

Aren't you scared you may peel the skin from your bare ankles if you fall down?

No one is whinin bro.  Does this mean your offer doesn't stand anymore?   ;D  & if I fall a little peel on the skin on my ankle its all good.  A little scuff wont hurt.  Envy? nothing to envy here.  You might be taking it the wrong way.  I ride every bike hard. Got pics of your bikes?  ::)

^ I'm buying the R1 to work on it as a hobby.  It does affect handling.  Rode my buddy's Gixxer with a 6 inch extention & its just a little bit stiff on corners, but I can rip it on the hwy.  Rode another buddy's Gixxer, but was a 1000cc with the extension & power control & that thing was amazing!  FAST!

Do you think extending your swingarm will affect your steering geometry?

Damn right it will.

You'll increase the rake and trail and will also increase the steering head degree which will extend the front-like a chopper. The nimble handling will become more stable at speed but you're going to have to force it into the corner and keep forcing it to hold its proper line. That is, unless, you're getting a new-taller-shock or -longer-tie rods installed into the rear linkage to compensate for the new 6" increase. That would mean that if you wanted to keep the handling similar, your going to need to lift the rear end of the bike by 1 1/2 feet.

Lowering your bike and doing the "drag" thing it is for those who are afraid to corner...and I'm sorry for those who are frightened of lateral G loads.

^ doesn't matter which part of the pack I ride in.  I'm more careful in the middle, too many people around.  I'm looking forward to the ride.  It'll be fun.

I'm sure you do crazy cornerin on the streets bro.  Everyone claims to.  ^_~

You can "drag" on I-94 all you want, but I know my fresh tires look like this after two days.

Did I mention that this was without a track day.

Are you sure that, "Everyone claims to"? Do you need some Sriracha with the sentence that you just had to eat?
Put those extensions on your swing arm and I'll see you on the ride. Don't chicken out now.
