MAayo was drafted by the Wolves then trade to Memphis for Love...

Otis Smith would have to be a drunk mofo to pull this deal through but then again with Orlando underachieving once again, Howard himself might want out and they could very well lose him and get nothing in return à la Shaq.

Howard does not wanna go to LA because Kobe is past his prime. 3 years tops and he's done. When Kobe leaves LA and retires, Howard will be stuck with a bunch of scrubs in LA.

Chicago is the destination for Howard and that is the best deal for Orlando. Howard for Noah and Deng. Everyone will win. Orlando doesn't want Howard to walk in a few years like how Shaq did. They're gonna try to at least get something back from him. Noah is one of the top 5 bigs in the league right now. Chicago will build around Rose and Howard.

Noah and Deng for Howard, can't see it. I just don't see how orlando is getting better.

Lakers would be giving up too much for Howard in my opinion. The head to head match up between Bynum and Howard was a lot closer then people think. Also salary does not work, likely the Lakers would have to eat Hedo or Gilbert contract, which isn't worth it.

I agree.  Without shooters it won't help.  Lakers need shooters.

Should of trade Bynum for Carmelo when they had the chance. Kobe is too old and trying too hard. Again what they need is a point guard.

Orlando has no choice. If they don't trade, they risk Howard leaving with nothing in return. That's exactly what happened when shaq left. They won't let that happen again.

I wanted to see this trade happen too. Shoot, Bynum/artest for melo. Gasol/Kobe/Melo would be deadly. Melo will of course be the main scorer..
