visiting my relatives from long distances and they go out of there way to boil me a chicken for my journey back home.
also, when hmong people ask me to sit at the table. i know most of the hmong kev cai but it still makes me feel awkward.
anything that makes you feel weird/awkward/uncomfortable? please share.
Pack you a chicken for your journey. It's customary for relatives to do that but now we're living in the modern age it's really not necessary and it could be substituted for modern snacks or beverages. It works a lot better than having to carry a whole chicken. I've got that before and it does make me feel uncomfortable.
lol
Now, when it comes to relatives coming to visit and leaving, I usually urge my parents to just pack the essentials and some snacks alone the way. Whole chicken is just so impractical when you have people flying instead.
