On March 26, 2010, North Korea possibly committed an act of war against South Korea. Many military analyst suggested that the attack on a South Korean warship was most likely a torpedo attack. Expert says they can even trace the torpedo's signature to a Chinese-made YU-3G Model...a torpedo type used by North Korea. The sinking of the Cheonan killed 46 S. Korean sailors.

$1,000,000 Question: So why haven't S. Korea responded with a Shock -n- Awe Attack on N. Korea???

Cause N. Korea has over 1,200 artillery and rockets pointed towards the Seoul, which is only ~25mi from the DMZ. Seoul, the largest S. Korea city has 25% of S. Korea's population and majority of its industrial powerhouses located there. It's a risk the S. Korean cannot take. Most likely S. Korea will up their covert ops against the North as payback.
