yamaha, i'm writing some but haven't got to the ones i've posted.

it's okay to listen at home. these are songs for the 'living' only. get a headphone/earpiece and you're ok.

You can listen with a headset...you just can't be jamming it super loud on your home theater set! These are all Hmong white txiv xaiv, here you can find some of the Hmong leej txiv xaiv:

in case you guys don't frequent the faith forum or don't understand hmong language, here are my translations to simple english.

enjoy!

19: Nkauj Muam Nraug Nus Sib Ncaim

seems like a sunny day has passed, great aunt
seems like many years ago
seems like brother lived a good life, the two of you were siblings who loved each other very much
shared the same blood, shared the umbiblical cord , shares the same meals along with the same plate & spoon, oh great aunt

seems like you, daughter, born by accident to wear a skirt and went on to blossom like mushrooms along trees and barks
you went and live a life along the edges of a garden, oh great aunt.

seems like the two of you made a promise, thru ‘zaj tshoob’ –hmong wedding songs, during your wedding.
your brother told you, ‘go well. when the sky turns dark and the land ends…”
if brother live a life, to its end and not to its fullest
remember him and keep in contact and his whereabouts

seems like the two of you made a promise, thru ‘zaj tshoob’ –hmong wedding songs, during your wedding.
the promise was, after you wed, remember that ‘if’ one day
when brother has live a life, to its end but not to its fullest, to his 120 years
you, must remember to come back and know of his fate, oh great aunt, great aunt.

seems like when brother was still alive, seem like he was the glass water that runs over the hot coils, 9 days or 10 nights, you have a place to visit and make runs to.

seems like today, brother has left all weights and is standing tall near the border of his fields.
brother is going, he’s going to leave you behind, alone, oh great aunt.
seems like, brother is going away, like a bridge, rolled over the other side
now it’s going to cut all ties,  ending your runs and visits to him

do not be mad or be angry. bridges may have been broken but the roads are still wide.
broken bridges are the reasons why we (txiv coj xai) are here to fix. land slides we will fenced.
his sons and daughters, we will leave in your care and you must love them so they too will have a place to run and visit, oh great aunt, great aunt.

seems like we are here to fix bridges to be solid, fix roads to be straight and wide.
left behind are your brother’s sons and daughters-in law, daughters and sons-in-law
among them you will find comfort and a home to visit, oh great aunt, great aunt.

the leaves have fallen but remain are the branches.
your brother has passed but remain are his sons and daughters, his daughters and his sons
the leaves have fallen but remain are the branches.
your brother has passed but remain are his sons and daughters, his daughters and his sons
oh great aunt, great aunt.

seems like today the owner has passed and is leaving his farm animals behind.
animals are going to run wild all over the pent.
seems like your brother passed away. leaving his sons and daughter in laws, daughters and son-in laws
they will cry and curl all over their beds and pillows

28:Xa Qauv Sawv Kev

Seems like sunrise is here. The elders, descendants and everyone.
Seems like this entire time, we made offers to yours ancestors, finished the ceremony.
our blessings are your father’s blessings.  Our words are your father’s words.
Seems like this entire time, the oldest sons we gave hats. The youngest sons we gave shoes.
We’ve taught the oldest to be generals, we’ve taught the youngest to be leaders.
Seem like we packed wisdom on your backs, blessings in your arms.

Seems like sunrise is here, sunrise will bring shadows, morning will bring light
The sun is rising, it’s time to prepare for your father’s departure. It’s time for your father to leave
It’s your father’s time to go his way, your father will leave his house

Sunrise is to bring clouds, rain is to bring bitter. Now your father is leaving, he’s going to break his family ties
Sunrise is to bring bitter, rain is to bring clouds. Time for your father to leave his household
Flower blossom but flower is bitter, tree fruitful but fruits are bitter
Time for your father to go, now your father will have to divide his crops

Seems like your father’s spirit rather stay with you, he miss you so much but time calls for him to go
Your father misses his sons, adores his daughters. He wants to stay, but time calls for his spirit to go
He is cutting his earthly ties, with the clothes on his back, time to leave his family behind
Families, sons and daughter-in-laws, your father is going far beyond the sky, he is going to climb over 9 mountains and down 10 valleys
Do you miss your father or do you not?
If you miss him, grab a white cloth and go wash the sweats off his face.

Seems like now your father is standing at the gate, your father misses you much and doesn’t want to leave.
Your father turns his face to see you, turns his head to tell you

This is what he said
Seems like every normal night and day, your father’s objective is incomplete
You brought relatives, young and old to accompany your father
Today you father has nothing left for you to see, nothing left for you to view
Your father’s objective is complete, his funeral is over
Therefore, take the relatives, young and old back to their houses
Seems like the heaven is high and wide, the earth is deep and long,  awaiting for your father to reside

Seems like when you return to your home. Your house will be a mess, unsettled and unbearable stay
Back at home, your house will be like a jungle unable to sustain
You will remember  the time when you father is living well with you
Seems like you would go to work, venture for a day, when you arrived home
Your father is home, cleaning cooking your left over food.
Seems like your front and back yards are purged of rats and birds
Your father watched your son, looked after your daughter with warmth and comfort

Seems like today, your father has left.
After a day of work, your house will be a mess
There will be no one to heat your left over foods
Seems like your front and back yards will be full of rats and birds
Seems like today, your father has left.
When you returned home from work, there will be no one to watch your son, no one to look after your daughter
You will realize  how much you miss your father.

Seems like you look at a distance, there is someone who appears to be your father
Walks and talks like your father, you move towards him. 3 steps, 4 steps closer and grab to his arm
He’s not your father, he’s just your uncle. He only loves you because he feels sorry for you.
He loves you a little, not unlike your father who gave birth to you.

Seems like you see a figure, old like him. Walks and talks like your father.
You move closer, 1 step 2 steps near him, grab him by his hands.
You look but he’s not your father. He’s your uncle or relative.
You wonder whether to call him father. He loves you but not to his heart. He only loves you because he feels sorry for you
He loves a little unlike your father who loves you with all his heart

Seems like when you return to your home. Your house will be a mess, unsettled and unbearable stay
You realized that financially you’re drained. Spent all your money, sacrificed all your animals
Seems like you view your house as empty, messy unable to live
You realized you spent everything, sacrificed all your animals for your father
You draw up a piece of squared paper to help track your father’s path.
But you can’t follow his footsteps,
sons and daughter-in-laws. Gather up a squared piece of paper with stripes to follow your father
But you can’t track his footsteps, you can’t follow his whereabouts
Daughters and son-in-laws

Seems like your father went away. One of his spirit will rest near the grave, there is one which will climb to the gates of heaven
Remember after the 3rd months, the 3rd full moon, there are 30 days to a month
Remember to fetch your father’s spirit, remember to release his spirit near the grave, is the only way to set him free
Your father has one spirit, sleeping in the ground. There is one more, ascending to the owner’s gates of heaven
Seems like after the 3rd months, the 3rd full moon, one month is 30 days
Remember to fetch your father’s spirit, free him from the grave

It's important that we have someone like him do this so other people who aren't too educated on things like this will understand. It's not what you're interested in so you may think it's bogus, but to someone who would like to learn (like me), it's very important.

Thanks again slude!

Slude,

This is the husband of this nickname. I'm willing to pay you for every clear copies you have of all the xivxaiv, beginning to end.

I prefer them to be in order since I have no clue what the sequence is, but I love to listen to it.
