This is a follow-up of Part I.  Sorry about the delay... much translations. idiot2

Shaman:  The hurdle in understanding is to defeat your personal fundamental comprehension of life that you have assembled in so far.  Because every information you receive in each day, you administer them through a self-built filter of your society, culture, religion, and personal own experiences—accepting or rejecting them.  Needless to say, at age 16, man’s filter is much different from age 25, but also different at 35, 50, 90 and or on the death bed.  Therefore with only one lifetime, man cannot possibly understand life in itself, he will need hundreds if not thousands of lifetimes to reach an age of wisdom or truth.  This is the reason why man keeps coming back.
Man is a creature of accounts of inventory; he rejects or accepts fixations that he holds true according to his society, culture, religion, fear and desire.  If you disintegrate the inventory, man also will fall apart.   Only then can knowledge reach him.    For instance, a person can hold religion as an inventory and process most information through it.  He will become much defensive if not aggressive and violent if his inventory is being challenged especially if this specific inventory binds others together —because if his religion falls apart, all will also fall apart. Fear and chaos will settle. He will not see the truth even if it was given to him.  If that inventory collapsed, man will either seek another religion, a different society or in many cases some will become depressed and miserable.  Though only did he know he was a step closer to the truth.

Three spheres of consciousness exist within one another: to put in simple words, the first one is where we are, the living; the second one is the sphere of ghosts/deities, energy and the third one is the current that runs to run. The first is minuscule and established within the much more immense second sphere, to name it a parallel world is not quite a correct expression as man can see and experience it. The trouble is he is too self-absorbed therefore lacks the energy to see or sense it.  Though, at times by accident he sees and experiences it but immediately dismisses as reason takes over and does not want to shatter the built-up inventory.  He contributes that as a cause to stress or hallucinations (laughing here).  Within his luminosity, man holds two outermost points, one is logic and at the other extreme is intuition (I could not find the correct translation in Chinese but the word does not quite match with English).  The second and third sphere cannot be interpreted with logic, it only needs to be witnessed or experienced.  This is why shamans cannot explain what they see because it is indescribable.
pliable, and they always try to have their luminosity reside at the point of the spirit, though, they easily can move it back to the tip of logic when they wish to.  Anything and everything becomes possible if a person can move its luminosity in such fluidity from a complete transformation into animals, looking younger/older or to suddenly physically disappear....  the art of shamanism is indeed a lost art.

Nowadays, the man of reason will tell you all those things are physically unfeasible, just legends, myths created by a primitive people who could not understand their natural surroundings (loud laugh here).  They will descend on you dressed in their fancy clothes, out of their classy automobile (he did use this term), they will hand you books and books of research and scientific data and tell you otherwise in elaborate intellectual discussions with play of words that are at times rather quite impressive.  But as I remember it not so long ago, the Earth was once flat, and the sun revolved around the Earth.

Only if he would quiet down his mind, rest still, breathe to breathe and feel the Earth underneath, he would know without knowing that he is an extraordinary luminous being that has yet to exploit his true real potential.  But he has to linger until Death unexpectedly comes knocking on his door, to hear the gloomy footsteps going up to his cold room for him to know without knowing.  For he has lived his life like an immortal, and as Death sits by his bedside, he sees the current that runs to run and knows without knowing and understands indeed that Life cannot be explained.
Only did he know, Death has always been staring straight at him since born he was.  It is man, who chooses to live a life without Death, and always he dies, and dies with fears and regrets.  Has he lived with Death by his side, infinity would have he lived in one lifetime.

Believe me not but I invite you to seek answers in these accounts, and in the answers may you find the truth.  I will not lead.  My footsteps, you shall not follow, for in this journey: one is truly alone.  But once on this path, you shall recognize footprints I have left behind as many have done before I.
Man of reason either leads or follows.  When he leads, blind he is; for gold and grandeur, he follows.  When he follows, chaos he finds; for fear and hope lead him.  Follow and lead you shall not ever do.  One day when no faultlessness, purity, compassion you have become, only can you lead, for you will not lead but the spirit will lead you.

But important it is not now.  Man must follow his true path which lies in the intuition position; there he will find the true self which can only be present when a complete energy in the luminosity is achieved:  he will be content and will not crave, nor desire anything, only then will he be able to make a decision that is truly his and not a choice caused by a lack of energy within the luminosity.  In the point of logic, the ego controls and dominates, for that reason man lives and exists only within the lack of energy in the luminosity realm.  In this position, he does not live but always will be struggling to overcome his lack of energy.  He will always chase after love, or money, status, acceptance, happiness…. and even if he finds all of the above, satisfy he will not be because he is chasing something that does exist in the point of logic—absolute energy within his luminosity.

In this second consciousness, there are many worlds one can access into.  Many deities (not quite the right words) come from here, turning average persons to become shaman in exchange for energy.  In reality, they are not helping but rather an exchange of energy is taking place—they are easily enticed by man’s energy.  This explains why most shamans have to follow certain protocols to satisfy their deities, or else.  Deities do not make shamans see, rather they give them extra boost of energy which allows shamans’ luminosity to be much more pliable and along with the touch of the spirit, shamans can command and see.

However, many shamans nowadays are no longer on the path of the spirit; rather they live in the world of reason and are part-timers in the world of the spirit, and the practice has turned into a trade: healers, oracles, mediums, medicine men….  I assume here aware they are not that possibilities are unlimited, they have lost the art of sorcery (notice the change of term here; I thought this was quite interesting).

The art of shamanism is to conserve energy and seek faultlessness and purity in oneself while in the first sphere to ready for the journey past the current that runs to run in the third sphere, through the second.  Because they are attempting to lose their ego and self-reflection, thus having extra energy, shamans can see man for what they truly are, a luminosity of energy.  Shamans’ luminosities become extremely
pliable, and they always try to have their luminosity reside at the point of the spirit, though, they easily can move it back to the tip of logic when they wish to.  Anything and everything becomes possible if a person can move its luminosity in such fluidity from a complete transformation into animals, looking younger/older or to suddenly physically disappear....  the art of shamanism is indeed a lost art.

Amigo,

I am too tired to read general thoughts.  Can you summarize the main points? Thanks.

QuePasso,

You traveled far to seek knowledge.  I recommend you a book: Ishmael by Daniel Quin.

Ishmael is a 1992 philosophical novel by Daniel Quinn. It examines mythology, its effect on ethics, and how that relates to sustainability . The novel uses a style of Socratic dialogue to deconstruct the notion that humans are the end product, the pinnacle of biological evolution. It posits that human supremacy is a cultural myth, and asserts that modern civilization is enacting that myth.
Ishmael was awarded the $500,000 Turner Tomorrow Fellowship Award. The book is the first of a trilogy including The Story of B and My Ishmael.
