Thanks.

I thought TAMN was a mainstream organization affiliated with the DFL party or something. It now is clear to me that it is run by some Hmong political group.

OK. So one organization endorsed a guy. But that's not the end.  It just means Mr. Lor got a lot of supporters from that organization. Let's see how the candidates do on August 10th!

wow!...so many negativity.... although he did have alot of supporters to be there....other canidates had the same opportunity to do it as well....there were a couple of the canidates who went on bragging about who their other endorsers were and did not even once ask the group to vote for them for TakeAction's endorsement... .it's understandable ..... when i walked in...i already knew who was gonna win....

But when you think about it, I'm glad that they endorsed him because he shared the same views as TakeAction.... he was passiontate about his complishments with TakeActions hoping to use this as a guiding tool to be heard at the capitol..... the other canidates probably don't even know what TakeAction is....either way, it's all done and over with....it's all politics....

You must know his politics well!

This is funny because he is affiliated with TakeAction... Why would he not share the same views as the organization he is affiliated with? Of course, we all knew it was flawed from the beginning, but I still had that ounce of hope that there would be a little bit of integrity within the organization to evaluate who was really worthy of an endorsement. In my opinion, Jim McGowan seemed the most sincere and genuine out of ALL the candidates. He was articulate and spoke with poise. I will say that Dai Thao came across very "Vang Lor" bias throughout the screening, asking candidates ridiculous questions that made the crowd speculate how inferior the other candidates are to Vang Lor. (Really, it just made him look like an idiot). We found out he was Vang Lor's campaign manager in the end. Really? That's bogus. Taking cheap shots... But it is what it is. After all, it's not what you know, it's who you know.

so you was there too?

I thought Jim McGowan was a really good canidate...I like his speech and his answers to the questions...bu t he was lacking charisma....yo u know, he was the only canidate that actually went around and shook people's hands and introduced himself....i thought that was very nice of him....

Avi was very good too...he spoked kinda fast but he was able to give specific answers and i felt like he hit in all the right places....he also has that strong voice and charisma in him...

I was brought there through Vang Lor's campaign, but i came with an opened mind....i'm glad i went because i've just narrowed down who i want to vote for....and yes, i live in district 67 so i will go vote!

i did not like how Lor's supporters were saying all the good stuff about him but when it came to other canidates... they kinda put them down....
