my dishnetwork contract expire this month and i'm not going back to paying $60/month for the limited time i watch tv. so i'm putting together a guide/series of things i can do with internet tv. more or less for noobs like myself and others who are interested. if you have more, please add.

say goodbye to cable/statellite

Internet TV

-Connect antenna to TV to get local HD channels
-Install BOXEE program at http://www.boxee.tv on laptop to watch full TV episodes, movies, shows from various sources such as Netflix, Flickr, Youtube, Hulu.
-For sports, access ESPN3 on the web or watch on local HD channels
-Watch LIVE shows at channelsurfing .net
-install tenchistv toolbar from  http://www.tenchistv.com/   and watch unlimited PPVs and other networks. You can also suscribe $9.99/month for unlimited HD programmings/PPVs.

everything i need, customized for less than my current satellite bill.

just found out that firefox has an add-on toolbar to watch over 1000 channels. go to firefox.com>click add-ons (top tap) and search for 'tv-fox'> download and watch.

How's the quality of tenchistv?  Any idea if there are "live" streams of WWE shows?   ;D
