lol toua... you be surprise how many deer you see here than in a land of forest. Ya it is hot and humid here... Got to hide under a shade. Best if to hunt in the early morning and evening here...       But most of the time I do a half day hunting on this type of land... =)

Finally got my 2014 buck on public land. Not the biggest of them all but what a crazy morning after seeing 9 different bucks and passing on almost all of them except two. The first one didn't offer a clear shot so I watched it walk out of my life and this guy must've read the script. He walked into my shooting lane at 30 yards and I got it all on film. Full story and video coming soon.  :D

Congratz Addy! Nice deer.  I didn't harvest any this year.  I've been busy and didn't get to go out much.  Hopefully next year I'll do better.  My wife harvested a fawn.  Her first deer.

Sorry you didn't win that online competition.  My friends and I voted for you.
