my dad has always been the pusher who told me to seek bigger and better things he never had and never can give me.

get into actual political positions, make a change with the wealth you accumulate, and lastly be understanding of each others opinions, just because we don't see eye to eye on certain issues doesn't mean im not hmomg enough or that its a reason for a clan bashing.

Funny thing is, my Business Law teacher asked me to, STOP EVERYTHING and pursue a career in Politics or be a Lawyer. He said he would be open to the idea of being my mentor. I gave it some thought, and I realized how STUPID HMONG people are and how many would rather see me FAIL than HELP me succeed. The stupid Hmong people are like crabs:

Quote
Crab mentality, sometimes referred to as crabs in the bucket, describes a way of thinking best described by the phrase "if I can't have it, neither should you." The metaphor refers to a pot of crabs. Singly, the crabs could easily escape from the pot, but instead, they grab at each other in a useless "king of the hill" competition which prevents any from escaping and ensures their collective demise. The analogy in human behavior is that of a group that will attempt to "pull down" (negate or diminish the importance of) any member who achieves success beyond the others, out of jealousy or competitive feelings.

I think I would have done pretty well too! My Law teacher (successful/still practicing/teaching) said I have a knack for presenting evidence, using the evidence in making compelling arguments and convincing others, via my essays and amount of information I was able to retain. He said being Hmong would be a HUGE advantage in representing the Hmong People in Fresno, but I turned it down due to the Hmongs being like crabs.

 :-\

Can you imagine staying up all night to try and help defend a fellow Hmong person, then lose and hear the Hmong say you deliberately, purposely, did NOT try, which is why their son/daughter lost? Better to just sit back and watch them lose and laugh.

 :idiot2:

 ;D

Tell me about it, they would want it done for free. Or at a rate of $1 a day. Plus pay for their gas to court, food and consultation.

Hmong people and their "haggling" always trying to rip other Hmong people off. You never see them do this to others, only Hmongs.

sounds easy enough??
The smartest thing to do as a smart person if you value your life is not to unite the Hmong people; can't be done; it is a contradiction; a fallacy; lost cause.
