The scene with the mother and child in the refugee hospital is sooo sad! I cried. Very heartbreaking. I wonder where some of these people in the clips are today?

This video brings back memories of the camp. My family never lived in Nongkhai but we were in Ban Vinai for 8 years.

My family lived in Nongkhai for 3 years before we were sponsored to the U.S. My mom says that Nongkhai holds some of the worse memories for her as that was the time she struggled the most. I was only 2 when we left and I have no memory of it.

For those of you who have not lived or raised in Laos, and migrated crossed the Mekhong River, you will never understand the pain/sacrifice our parents make. For my family, a younger brother died due to opium overdose, and two uncles and a grandpa died on the way due to gunfire. Till these days the event is still fresh in my mind. I've witnessed too many dead bodies on the way.

China and Russia can't invade America. They don't have the resource to. It would cost them so much money to do that they would forever be in debt. Think about it...I've read somewhere that China and Russia has a large inventory of tanks and planes but more than half of them aren't even operational. Their high up ranking generals or whatever even say it themselves that they're not in a situation where they can wage war. The three countries are pretty much the super powers on earth but overall...Amer ica tops them out. Oh yeah...don't forget...Ameri ca has a secret weapon that can defeat Russia and China put together...whi ch is....CHUCK NORRIS!!!
