Christian and nonchristian understand things differently. It's like fish and birds trying to understand each other. To understand each other you have to put yourself in their shoe. For example; to fully understand a Christian's way of thinking, you have to go to church for atleast a year or two. And to fully understand a non-christian, you have to stop going to church for atleast a year or two.

I beg to differ. I spent a great deal of time studying religion...and the studies of religion have been not only very rewarding, but very enlightening for me as well. I think the biggest problem lies in the fact that Christians feel they must have a monopoly on God and only their God is the correct, right, and true God. And of course, the Muslims are not setting a very good example either. These two largest religions seems to create so much problems as opposed to helping people.....eve n though I derive much satisfaction studying them both, and I can honestly say that by studying Christianity and Islam especially by such a wise and intelligent person as Huston Smith really help me to grow as a person.
