I don't have enough to be an atheist by Normon L. Geisler
« on: September 09, 2010, 11:07:39 AM »
Quote from the book:

"We claim that there is strong evidence supporting Christianity. How will we proceed through this evidence? Since 1996, we have traveled together around the country conducting a seminar called, "The Twelve Points that show Christianity is true." In it, we proceed logically from the question of truth all the way to the conclusion that the bible is the Word of God. This book generally will follow this same logical, twelve point progress."

1. Truth about reality is knowable
2. The opposite of true is false
3. It is true that the theistic God exists. This evidence by the:
        a. Beginning of the universe (Cosmological Argument)
        b. Design the universe (Teleological Argument/Anthropic Principle)
        c. Design of life (Same thing like section B)
        d. Moral Law (Moral Argument)
4. If God exists, then miracles are possible
5. Miracles can be used to confirm a message from God (I.E., as acts of God to confirm a word from God)
6. The New Testament is historically reliable. This is evidence by:
        a. Early testimony
        b. Eyewitnesses
        c. Uninvented (Authentic) Testimony
        d. Eyewitnesses who were not deceived
7. The New Testament says Jesus claimed to be God, or should I say: "I am that I am."
8. Jesus' claim to be God was miraculously confirmed by
        a. His fulfillment of many prophecies about himself;
        b. His sinless life and miraculous deeds;
        c. His prediction and accomplishment of his resurrection
9. Therefore, Jesus is God
10. Whatever Jesus (who is God) teaches is true
11. Jesus taught that the bible is the Word of God
12 Therefore, it is true that the bible is the Word of God (and anything opposed to it is false)

-End of section one, continue later-

If I were you, go check out Friedrich Nietzche who says this: "If one were to prove this God of the Christian to us, we should be even less able to believe in Him, and It is our preference that decides against Christianity, not arguments." (Nazi German)

Siryou, you're a moron. Nietzche died before the Nazi movement even began so how can you call him a German Nazi? Learn some history you idiot. Nietzche wasn't a Nazi, they appropriated his work and philosophies into their National Socialist movement but he wasn't a Nazi himself. Here is a good list of reasons why Nietzche would have opposed the Nazi movement (as written Alan Taylor):

1. Nietzsche Distrusted Nationalism
2. Nietzsche Hated Socialism
3. Nietzsche Disliked "Mass" Movements
4. National Socialism Springs from Ressentiment

An in depth look at the reasonings and writings of Nietzsche that support those 4 propositions: http://evans-experientialism.freewebspace.com/taylor_alan_%20nietzsche.htm

By trying to discredit and implicate Nietzche by falsely accusing him of being a Nazi you discredit yourself and all the moronic shit that you write.

Let's not talk about credibility.  You got no degree you talk as if you are an expert in UHC and when a medical doctor tells you that you are wrong, you tell everybody you are right.  When an expert in the medical device says you are smoking crack, you tell him he's fake.  So what do you do for a living that makes you so more credible?  You must the Secretary of Health for the state of Wisconsin?  I didn't know the state of wisconsin drop their bar so low these days.

Let's not talk about credibility.

Look what you posted before you talk! Let me know when you find the proof!

 :idiot2:

Idea -> Hypothesis -> Repeatable Test -> Theory -> Rigorous Proof -> Theorem -> Universally Accepted -> Law.  This is the chain of events.

Watch you run again and hide from answering it with PROOF!

Really? Is that why your "medical device expert" couldn't come up with any credible facts to support his opinion on the subject? The bottom line is you and your cohort of idiots had nothing but anecdotal "evidence" in that debate. When you couldn't and refused to come up with anything more substantial you resorted to name calling. I'm weary when anyone in the medical field chimes in about UHC, after all health insurance companies and those in related medical fields like the medical device field have the most to gain from the current status quo. If things were to suddenly turn to UHC do you think they'd be making as much money? No you fvcking douchebag.

You want to talk credibility? So far I haven't presented anything that I haven't been able to back up with credible sources unlike you and your cohort of edjumacated morons who don't use any credible sources by your emotions and heresay.

So was I wrong about Nietzsche? No, I wasn't you douchetacular king of all disingenuous @ssholes.

You are the worst kind of person, the fake @ss I'm Mr Niceguy person who is really just a real douche. I saw through your fake apologies and ever since then you've had a hard on for me. I guess being Christ like stops at the internet huh? Once again you prove that the only reason most Christians are Christians is because they see a big fat pay off in the end...because if you truly were a Christian it would be evident in every facet of your life regardless of how "anonymous" you think you are.

Let me further expand this by putting your former allies that you so revere as credible under a magnifying glass shall we?

First let's talk about this medical device professional. Wow, what can I say...this guy is a mental midget. He "fell in love" with a PHer and it got so bad he had to "delete" his account. Firstly she has mentioned that they barely had any contact, how the hell do you fall in love with someone with minimal contact over an internet forum? Is this medical device pro a fvcking middle schooler? I also think it's hilarious when people ask to get their accounts deleted, just don't come back dumbshit. You have so little self control that you can't just not come back?

This medical "professional" has the mental maturity of a pre-teen, right real credible.

Now let's go to the other douche who accessed my records at UWEC without my permission which is a federal offense. What a **** move, ethically he's on par with pedophiles as far as I'm concerned.

Then there's the douche who caught me and Corey at a public PH function. LOL! Cause if I was gonna date my cousin I would totally take her to a public function where there are going to be numerous PH members present. Right! If you can't even see the stupidity in this I can't help you out.

These are the dipshits who are "credible" according to you. A mental midget "professional" who has the maturity of a pre-teen, a rumor starting slandering cowardly douche and an unethical federal law breaking @sshole.

With that kind of company I guess you could say that you fit right in there just fine!

Hmm...that statement you comment sounds like this: Did you see God in day one? That is a self-defeating statement on both sides for evolutionist and creationist. It leads to a dead end where no one cannot argue. Therefore, what you're saying doesn't matter to a person who has a degree or not.
