vang..I mean if you still feel this violated over it for exposing your confidential documents and records, can't you just sue them?   do you still have the proof of the thread or link or site it was put out on? that person(s) whoever did that to you must have had connections to the college and academic administrator? or mad enough to be able to hack into a secured university system?...and if that is indeed what they did, then yes that is great federal crime.

Of course it's gotta take some money to investigate and prosecute them 

I know the idiot who did that is still around. I would settle for an apology but honestly if I wanted to pursue legal action against this person I probably could. It depends on Toumeng's log of IPs too and whether or not he keeps them. No doubt I have a case, but I have to ask myself if I really want to put that much effort and time into ruining this idiot's life. I am willing to forgive and forget if the bastard apologizes to me, but I do know that if I pursue legal action and the court finds in my favor this person would lose all professional credibility making them unemployable, unless you count flipping burgers.

So what I have are the web pages and links to my official college transcript that he posted online. I also know that 8v10 knows him personally from the way they interacted on the forum.

The only reason these things even came up again was because 8v10 seems to think that without a college degree in my hand I'm not fit to comment on anything here. He also thinks he did no wrong nor did his friends since he has refused to comment on what they did and avoided the topic all together but keeps coming back to stab little petty daggers into my back.

Well that's just rather prejudice then..shouldn't this place be open for everyone to come and voice their thoughts regardless of your educational background? I had some former colleagues very smart people and they just have an apprenticeship and high school diploma only. I don't get why one must need to have a college degree in order to be taken seriously or be deemed intelligent and credible, especially if it's just in a debate forum.    And to go as far as disclosing someone's school record on a public forum just to discredit someone..is just douchey and scandalous. Men with integrity do not behave that way. And being educated is being aware of an issue, siting facts and sources, and being able to think critically and logically.. don't necessarily need a college degree.

I don't know any of these debate dudes personally either but could it be they know they have violated a federal offense and are being shady, pointing fingers, avoiding the issue cause they don't want to get outted too?

Anyway I don't know man, it's up to you if you really want to go thru with all the legal stuff, if you feel you can regain back some of your dignity, and find justice and closure to the online shananigans with your opposers, then do something about it. But if that happened to me, I'd settled for an apology first too and hold out on the legal prosecution. Real men know how to own up and apologize, only the pussies hide behind their monitor

But that just shows the true character of someone if they should post private information on somebody else, a person who lacks moral ethics and integrity, and maturity, that they went and found confidential info just to post it on a forum so they can gloat and laugh at the person they are discrediting. OVER A FRICKEN DEBATE ISSUE ONLINE! How noble and charismatic is that? Some folks in here can get all pissy and butthurt if you struck a nerve, so I just make sure I don't push them over the edge either, that is why I tend to only read these debates and not comment much.

First, I don't have any henchmen unlike 8v10. I don't have a group of ppl who believe what I do running around and bashing 8v10 every chance they get. These are all just normal ppl who rarely venture into the Debates or Faiths & Beliefs forums. Some I have a lot of contact with, others not so much. These ppl think for themselves, they're not parroting or cheering on everything I do but they do happen to agree with me that 8v10 is a major douche.

Yeah I'm an @sshole and arrogant on here but the big difference between me and 8v is that I don't pretend to be a nice guy and I actually have integrity.

Look, since that thread no longer exists you can either ask me or 8v10 what went on.
