My excuse to not drink is "I'm on OEP". Which I'm really am on. Drinking while on OEP is a very bad combo.

Choppers and police sirens remind me of San Diego. I was ten years old. On my first night, I remember hearing the police chopper and sirens going off as I drifted off. The next morning there was yellow police tape around the house across the street. I guess while I slept the police had been searching for someone who had robbed a bank. I remember going across the street with my grandma. We peered through the police tape and wooden fence to see a dead body of a young man on the stairs.

I had a wonderful weekend. My siblings and I took my mom to the fair. She wouldn't ride any rides, and she didn't want any of us to ride the scary rides.
