I don't think I want a lot of material things in life and I don't always get what I want, but sometimes when I get what I want I feel like I suffer from spoiled princess syndrome.  :D

My girl at work told me the strangest thing the other day. Well, I had made some kind of big mistake and she was there to witness it. Afterwards, when I got it all straightened out, I talked to her about it. This is how the conversation went.

Me: Phew... did you see me do that before?
Her: Yeah. I saw you... in my head I was laughing at you.
Me: Gee thanks. I was totally freaking out though.
Her: Really? You looked really calm to me. I was like, "wow, eden's taking it so calmly."
Me: Are you sure?? I was freaking out in my head.
Her: You didn't look like it.

That made me think about how I present myself to the world. Do I really look calm when truthfully I'm totally panicking inside?? lol.

This thread makes me smile sometimes.  It seems to be more full of sincere and real thoughts out loud.

I dreamed that our world was overrun by dinosaurs, especially T-Rexes. Our only defense was that the T-Rex never learned how to open a door.

When I woke up, I was like, Gee whiz, why didn't Jurassic Park think of that?

I rarely buy expensive shoes because I wear out the soles of my shoes quickly.  :(  I guess I walk aggressively or something.  :-\

I must have gained ten pounds in the past three month. I guess my metabolism is finally slowing down. Goodbye thin frame.  :'(

Today, my 15 year old kid sister introduced me to her boyfriend. I don't approve. I'll just leave it at that.

Fifteen is not too bad.

One of my 12yr old sisters-n-law was dating a freaking 16 yr old. We had an intervention and told her to break up with him. She said she would but she lied about it... to our face! This happened three times.

After the third time, I asked to see her phone. She gave it to me and I texted the guy and broke up with him. My sis-in-law was sad but after a week the guy went back to his ex-girlfriend so I think she's over it now.

Stupid kids, I swear.

Listening to classical music makes me feel like I should be sitting in a British parlor wearing a corset and a dress with panniers, holding a spindly and delicate tea cup with my pinky finger lifted high, saying, "My dear Mr. Darcy, can you believe the news that Francois just told me? Apparently a knight of the realm has just moved into our neighborhood," all in a British accent, of course.
