This had better not be like the first one where they ended a great storyline by having monsters come out of the ground to eat everyone up, even though it was a medieval setting and no monsters had been previously seen or fought. Lazy animators, if you ask me.

I actually just finished the animation.  I've never read the mangas but I hope they don't cut corners and give it a proper treatment.

Silkstream, I agree.  The very late last episode with monsters was like a wtf moment...

Zod is a hellish monster remember.  Anyways what I want to know is, where will the new anime take off from?.  Will it be right after the last episode of Berserk or after the Game.  Supposedly the PS2 game picked up where the anime ended.
