Which Hmong clan?

Which Hmong clan is it that aren't allowed to eat chicken gizzards or is it liver?  And what would be the consequences if someone did eat it?  I hear stories like they get sick or bloody nose or something?  And what's the story behind it?

I do not know about pig's heart but in my family, Yang males cannot eat chicken heart. Apparantly if a yang male do eat a chicken heart they will become blind.

Yang men just need to stay away from hearts period. As far as liver or gizzards go, I've never heard of such.

Yeah... I meant chicken hearts.  Doesn't it goes for the ladies too?  Any Yang want to volunteer and record themself eating chicken hearts?

I've been to Yang families who have served plates and plates of chicken hearts. They were less afraid to eat them than I was, although I'm not a Yang.

Last weekend, I went deer hunting with two Yangs. We got a deer. They refused to eat the heart. So I had it all to myself at the camp! Delicious!!!

All Hmong males should not eat chicken gizzards. They give you gout later on in life. Gout is mob taw vwm.

Somehow it doesn't affect the women. Maybe that's partly because the women don't kick the men like the men kick the women?

Reporter: Supposedly ages ago some Yang people took in two bros who were orphans and accused them of something that they had not done. Well, the Yang people ended up killing them but before they died they had said that since Yangs have no heart that's why the want to kill them then after they die if any Yang men eats a heart from any living beings then they will go blind.
