No. :) Culture is such a huge dynamic that though some parts of it may change, not all will...

I was just having this conversation with my bro the other day about this topic. I think it’s already half way gone, in the states.

That's why Hmong men are returning to Laos for the traditional women.

If you speak the language... Know who's Hmong or not... IMO - The culture has adapted in order to survive and its very much alive if you ask me. Whether one wants to be traditional or not, is up to them. Certain aspects of the culture will always survive, like who you're parents are.

The Hmong culture may have Americanized but we are still referring to ourselves as Hmong-American's, or have you considered yourself American only?

lol men are just as ignorant as women, maybe even worst. Hmong people are a LOST breed of people. It's embarrassing what other people out there say about hmong people sometimes. Hmong hate their own kind, they hate other men for dating and marrying their hmong girls, they hate that women have become more feminist and can think and defend themselves, they hate that other jiggers got nice rides and they don't, hmong chicks hate that another chick looks better or got bigger boobs, Hmong people are a SAD PATHETIC BUNCHO QUACKS!!

When GVP and our elderlies passes on, the younger Hmong people and generations will just be truly LOST. They may not even consider themselves Hmong anymore but some other asian race.  :'(

Let this thread FLAME ON!!!!!!!!!! ;D

because!  it's not about the culture.. it's about the fact that they want someone who they think is still "fresh"  little do they know those girls over seas are worst!

This conversation came across in my women's study course back in college.  Some men want that attention, want to be the head of the home and those who cannot communicate with women in the US, return to their old country/land to find someone they can manipulate/mold into that lifestyle.  No matter what most folks say about men going back for poosie, it's also about a lifestyle.
