I happened to walk by a few of the contestant on Sat and I would have to say I've seen prettier Hmong girls. Also they were so short even with heels. Same for Mr Hmoob.

Congrats to them, I'm just stating my observation.

Why would they not???  All the Miss Teen USA contestants can run again at a chance to become Miss USA, and then the winner of the Miss USA pageant.  If the Hmong New Year in Fresno is suppose to be the "Main" hmong new year regardless of which one you choose to attend to then they treat it as like a step up from which other new years that they have won before entering that one.

I hope not either, but sometimes the competition lacks contestants and in order for the folks to run a competitive pageant it could be one of the reasons why they're allowed to compete again.

One of the problems we have today is a lack of support and organization from all of the new years.  It would be nice if Fresno ran it's own pageant before the new years started and had it's own representative, while other pageant winners from other cities and states would only send the pageant winner to compete.

I can understand the same year winners but not past winners.  It's just gay. ;D

I do like Maitzer Lauj too, she speaks good hmong fluently as well.

lol andro, Reporter has a way of twisting things around to make one look guilty too, he's a lawyer, duh. But just because you notice and compliment another woman who is beautiful does not make you a "lesbian" or going to become one, maybe he's a homophobe so he wants to keep his thoughts straight and not compliment on other handsome guys.  :-[

You guys sounds so immature and also too late to know about the title Miss Hmong International. Miss Hmong International is a pageant where all the winners from all over the world plus those who have experience such as 1st and 2nd runner up come and compete. Yes, I mean Miss Hmong International is like Miss Universe.

This year, we have Miss Hmong CA, Miss Hmong Central Valley/Merced, Miss Water Festival, Miss Hmong France, and Miss Hmong MN 2nd Runner Up came and competed.

We also have former queens won the title Miss Hmong International in the past and they are Miss Hmong CA "Paj Zaub Khab", Miss Hmong MN "Gao Zong Yang", and Miss Hmong San Deigo "Nkauj Mog Mim Hawj." Now, we have the former queen of Miss Water Festival took the title this year.

wow! I like the talent show video of Sauci Xyooj and she definitely got my vote for it. She remind me of my old friend mai neng her back in the 90's ;)
