Any mobile apps developers in here?

Written any stuff for the iphone and android OS ? I'm bore and gonna try something new on my spare time vs playing video games. I'm gonna try to get started on writing some apps for the android OS. Got some apps in mind. Now I just gotta figured some stuff out.  


For those who are interested, this is a good start. A bit limited, but seems like a good start for a novice like me.  Not much of a programmer. Last languages I touched were Basic, Visual Basic, COBOL, Perl, Javascript, HTML, DHTML, and some others. Was never an advanced programmer either..   Writing apps for a mobile device seems hard though..

Developed Iphone and IPAD apps (games) using gamesalad.  Very intuitive and easy.

Get those Iphone apps for dummies book.

I was skimming through some and  it basically walks you though.

The main thing is just develop yourself just one app.  After you do that, trust me, easy day. 

Back in the day before there was iphone's I programmed my ti-85 to chat with me.  It was an awesome calculator back in the day.
