So many different RELIGIOUS Hmiggas at GVP's funeral
« on: February 07, 2011, 09:56:22 PM »
Hmong rituals don't constitute a religion.

Buddhism was represented but I didn't really see any true Hmong buddhists.

And so many different kinds of Christian sects, including the Catholics.

There are even Judaic Hmiggas! A Hmong RABBI! WTF?!  :o

I'm just waiting for the Hmong Osama Bin Laden to make his speech! All praise Muhammed and Allah!  ;D

Ask not what "Jesus" would do, but what GVP would do. You are not "Jewish" and the "Jewish God" does NOT exist. Christians started the wars in IndoChina, then they left you to die. It was GVP that finally gave you RIGHTS to be HUMAN.

Did you all notice how the "Christians" did not say much about "Jesus" in their words?

Because using "Jesus" would be an insult to GVP.

According to Hmong Christians, GVP is just a plain man while "Jesus" is the true savior and messiah of the Hmong.  :idiot2:

Instead, the focus of their words were "God" focus ... ie. the OWNER of the universe.

Their words were more along the lines of "Jehoval Witnesses" then true Christians.

They also focused on "Moses" a lot...even though "Moses" never existed.

If you visit a Christian funeral or Church sermon, they would be praising "Jesus" as their Messiah and Savior ... the one who saved them and brought them to America. According to them,  "Jesus" will return to save them again.  :idiot2:

But they chose their words very carefully at GVP's funeral.

This is not an attempt to insult Hmiggas who want to be Jewish but simply an honest reflection.

Why don't they just honestly admit that they believe "Jesus" is greater than GVP...even though the "Jesus" of the Bible never existed (as claimed)?

Out of the 50+ organizations that were presented, I do not remember seeing any representative from SOY.

Just goes to show that many different people of different faiths loved and respected him too. No need for more controversy, the funeral is drawing to an end and I believe he has gone to a better place, he doesn't have to deal with some of you hmong people's bickerings and fightings anymore.

GVP was a great man, he loved all ethnic groups, Hmong, Khmu, Mien, Lahu, and many cultures, even Native Americans was represented at his funeral and came to pay their respects.

I think you're one of those who doesn't care about GVP or understand what he meant to a lot of people, but I'll explain anyway  ;D I believe you can watch it online primetime.

It was spectacular, we didn't make it to the opening ceremony, got in later, later that night, but re-watching some of my uncles' and cousins' video recordings and the youtube clips of it was pretty awesome. Emotional too, it made me cry.  :'(
