meeting someone offline
« on: February 25, 2011, 08:19:03 PM »
For those of you who have/are doing the online dating thing or just happen to initially meet someone online, such as on facebook or a site like this: Assuming that distance is not a factor, how long do you chat online before talking on the phone and  meeting in person?

Depends on the person and their comfort and trust level though, and if it's locally, and they want to meet up right after a few phone calls. Sometimes if you have high expectations of a person and they don't fit the image or character you pictured them to be, it can be a let down. This can happen when it's long distance.

most people have a vibe, online as become the new medium of communication. It all depends how comfortable you are and how comfortable they are.

it all starts with a picture...

but the actual time frame for everyone in the world is...

phone...
after chatting online for exactly 4 month 8 days 3.255 hours, then they start talking on the phone...

in person...
after chatting online for exactly 13 weeks 1 day 6.45 hours then they would actually meet up in person...

everyone knows that... its the universal online standers...

no need to thank me...  O0 O0 :police: O0

Meet up when you two are comfy and in public and it should be all good.

from online to offline...it takes less than 6 hours after exposure of picture.  however the catch is...how long did it take for one to show another of their picture....som e oneday, others up to a year and a half.

And don't forget to be yourself.  When you meet in person s/he will usually be shy eventhough y'all talked on the phone for a bit already(usually the women).  I don't get it.

it varies, minimum 2-3 weeks online, 2-3 weeks on phone, then in person. it's a really annoying process. you might as well stalk him or her and pretend to meet them in person by accident. much quicker that way. O0

I have tried out a few online dating sites... I would post up pictures of hot guys and when the date is set up... the girl is always disappointed because i'm not the hot dude in the picture.  :2funny:

I'm just a cheap thrill for the moment. When time is low, i'm the most affordable thing out there. When time is flying high, i'm not what you want.
