2 victims of fatal crash near Sanger identified

The Fresno County Coroner's office today identified two people killed Thursday evening in a three-vehicle crash near Sanger.

They are Shoua Vang, and Yong Vang, both in their 50s. They were in a car driven by Seng Vang, 18, of Fresno, which was involved in the crash at Del Rey and North avenues about 6:45 p.m.

The California Highway Patrol said Seng Vang was southbound on Del Rey in a 2006 Toyota when he went through a stop sign at North and collided with a 2000 Chevrolet driven by Rogelio Herrera, 66, of Sanger, who was eastbound on North.

Both cars crashed into a 1986 Nissan driven by Christina Salazar, 60, of Del Rey, who was stopped at the northbound intersection of Del Rey at North.

Seng Vang suffered moderate injuries as did Chue Vang, 12, who was in the same car. Herrera suffered major injuries and Salazar suffered moderate injuries.

Hopefully, the drive wasn't drunk or doing other stupid things.....a manslaughter charge will be a tough bullet to bite.  Lose your folks and jail card.....it's tough but I use the freeways as much as i can.  Some intersections are death traps....

My condolences to the family.  I can't imagine losing two parents in one instant.
