Beauty and Attractiveness
« on: March 04, 2011, 05:16:05 PM »
People can be quite beautiful but I don't find them attractive.

Like Brad Pitt, lots of women find him attractive, I don't.

Leonardo DiCaprio was hardly attractive until he aged.

Anyone feel me?

Whatever floats one's boat. I myself am the matthew mcconaughey type of gal. Leo was more of a junior high crush...he became popular when I was in the 7th grade!

Studies say that beauty in general is related to facial symmetry. But it's also dependent upon cultural and societal influences.
You put all that together with personal taste and that's how you get: "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder."

Brad Pitt has defined bone structure including jaw line and is very symmetrical, which in the western society, is a mark of handsome.
Tom Cruise also has a symmetrical face with a nice jaw line. I think in our society, in general for the men, it's the jaw line.

Brad Pitt was all that for me... but not so much anymore. Looks come and go. Still sexy, but I'm not pining after him.

Leonardo, crazy about him during Titanic's rush, after that, not so attractive... not until he started aging, yes. Now he's totally sexy again. He's got that rugged look.

Oh...I agree they are sexy, but I'm not attractive to them. I guess, when they were younger, they weren't my cup of tea.

But now that they've aged, gosh, hell yeah!  ;D

See! I love Matthew too! I'm so attracted to him, as opposed to Brad.

I agree Yubnag...I find Josh Duhamel and Matthew McConaughey hot compared to Brad P. or Tom C.
