You are correct. Beauty and attractiveness are TWO different traits. I think beauty is more of a physical trait whereas attractiveness is more than just physical features. Such as Ishida has stated, girls and women flock over Edward Cullens, and I'm still trying to figure out why. But when I've asked my many girlfriend's why they flock and die for him, they answer, "It's his character". If he did not play that part, if he was not Edward Cullens, he would be a no body. Personalities/character goes hand in hand with attractiveness . Some of these celebrities play roles that are more attractive. If you've notice, most of them who have become popular have done so with a good movie/character. People are attracted to that character thus are attracted to them. And that's how their popularity grows. So those who are better actors and can play the role better, will achieve attractiveness far quicker than those who cannot act out the roles.
