And honestly, if you want to lead the Hmong community you should start fairly early on. You can't just come out of nowhere and tell people to worship you. Vang Pao once said for Hmongs not to "climb up a high tree and demand people pay you respect. When they don't you'll fall. And from that fall you won't just break an arm or a leg, you'll die." Which young person, GVP's sons included, do you see helping a Hmong person out? How many do you see asking an older person if they need help with paperworks or translations? How many of you pull over to help a Hmong person stranded on the side of the road? How many people step into a fight to help another Hmong person being beaten senseless?
Like I've said before, and 3Miao can testify to this that I've said it before, we should start on a indivdual level. Start by leading our own lives, then our family, then our clan. And then from there we might be considered a leader. All of our leaders today, with the exception of GVP, can't even lead themselves. Thier families don't even want to associate. And, thier clan has long disown them. If you can't even lead your own life who is going to let you lead.
