Why do some Hmong people want to be Chinese descendants so bad? Chinese people are greedy, mean people and I want nothing in my blood line that has to do with them. Maybe sometime in the distant past the Hmongs did clashed with the Chinese, explaining some coincidences we have such as last names, some vocabulary similarities, etc. But knowing them, we probably got chased out of our home land and they wiped our history out of the papers.

The reason why some Hmong people want to think of us as Chinese descent probably has to due with the success of the Chinese in mainstream media, economics and technology. But seriously, the Chinese hate us, claim nothing of us, mock our religion, and look down on us. That is why I want nothing in our genetics to do with them Chinamen.

Dang.  I thought I am the only Hmong person in here that feels the same.   I encourage you to work with like-minds to make Hmong better.  For example, reducing praising other Asian or brand their culture, etc.
