This is the year for change...

Suddenly after turning 33 this July, I decided: goodbye glasses, smile more often, exercise consistently, and exude more happy vibes throughout this "trying for a baby" journey that hubby and I have been meandering through. One day our little lemon will join us.

My last day with glasses before I got Lasik surgery was roughly 3 weeks ago. Although I miss reading glasses, I also enjoy the void of glasses sliding down my nose during working out or running away from my face when it is super sweltering outside. I feel free!

This is a picture of my hubby, L, preparing to enter the float cabin he installed at his studio over this summer. This is one of my favorite services he offers at the studio. I try to go 1 - 2 times per month. At the start of each float session, I find myself tearing up due to my thoughts running wild about our little lemon. At the same session, a few minutes later and overall, it truly calms and relieves my soul and mind from so much.

The very last photo is my favorite playlist to listen to during my float session. The sounds and/or voices of these videos are just so soothing. Give it a go.

How's the lasik surgery working out for you?

Lexicon, I love it. I had very little downtime from the surgery. The 1st 2 days my sight was slightly blurry and my eyes stung if I accidentally got water in my eyes. Also, for the 1st 5 days or so I literally could taste the medicine and eye drops via my eyes, but that was the most annoying thing about it.

The last few weeks to today, my eyes were dry here and there and are still a bit sensitive to broad daylight and night lights, but I do not regret it.

Is it better, worse , or the same as if you still wore glasses/contacts? My worry is that the risk might outweigh the reward.

It is much, much better. I could read better now even than when I had glasses or contacts. I opted to pay $4000 and just used the same dr who did hubby's eyes, but I knew there were Groupon specials for lasik around $1000 or so. I just didn't know anyone who personally got it done through the places available on Groupon.

Worked with husband at the studio today since his partner and their employee is out today. It was super busy, so I enjoyed my time...still unbelievable that we have 5 more months, and it would be a year since the studio has been opened. I cannot express how happy and proud of them I am, especially of my sweety L.

Instead of gifts this year, hubby and I will write a little love note for one another and stick it in a glass jar to turn into a Christmas ornament for our tree. We have this yearly tradition where we add 1 ornament a year from when we 1st had our tree. 

It would be such a blessing if I can announce to hubby that I was preggo...a gal can dream.

Accidentally quoted myself instead of modifying, so I guess here goes another thought:

I truly love, love the logo I made for the company that I want to one day build with my 2 baby sisters.

*Crosses fingers* that it will become a reality in the next year or so. Right now, it's all about designing, planning, and gathering the funds to start it. Another good note, with the encouragement of hubby, I went on ahead and registered the domain names.
