Not much use...especial ly in Alaska....just bragging rights. Al least that few thousand dollars he saved can go towards the shipping cost.

The only reason why they honored the price was because of all the attention from the media.I had a similar experience with other eBay sellers, one did not even ship my item as promised until I asked them where it was. Another would not reply to my messages about his return address because his return policy was "You may return the item within 7 days after delivery confirmation." He was hoping to wait those 7 days would pass while ignoring my messages, eBay has a policy where I can't return it without his permission. So I reported his ass to eBay, only then did he give me the return address. And because the items were damaged, he was forced to pay for the return label.Don't get me wrong, there are some good vendors, but I'm always on the lookout of dishonorable businesses.Edit: Btw, both experiences were from Chinese sellers in the US, I doubt they're Chinese-American, they write broken Engrish.

I never buy anything from anyone that lives outside of the US. Good to know he got his car.
