I knew both of them. The suspect was my close cousin and the victim a nyab. I wish he could of thought it through before taking action. Now, this mistake can never be taken back with scars that will take a long time to heal. Two beautiful children left behind. He was a great father, always taking care of his kids. He had a bad background but nevertheless he was a good family man, always showing up at family rituals and gatherings to help the elders do chores and chop meat. What he has done was not the right way to do things, he was going through so much stress that no one knew of, many friends and family had seen him over the weekend before this tragedy and had tried to make him strong for the sake of his children.
It hurts to know that we have lost two family members, two great lives that ended up in such a fatal way that leaves us distraught. He let his madness took over and did the unthinkable. I cant help but keep replaying this movie in my head, imagining the thoughts that must of ran through his mind during that 45 min. drive down south, if he thought of his children, if he suddenly regretted what he had just done, the panic of confusion, anger, madness and sadness that must of swept over him, knowing he cant take back what has been done. To sit in the parking lot of an appt. area, to pull the trigger. It was no way to end a life or a life of another. There were other ways to solve a simple matter as this, but what is done has been done and forever will the two be missed.
Life goes on but forever will they be in our hearts. Rest in Paradise.
