Reminds me of Huab Tais Xya Leej Ntxhais.  O0

9 leeg tub yim leej ntxhais, muab ib tug rau me Hmoob no ces zoo; tsis muab no ces tuag kom tas tus noob.

Is that what it is?

Liv Nyug is most prominent in the "Little Ghost" story. His power is tested there; so is his fate and doom.

the only significance of the libnyug per mong story occurred in txoov sivyig's fight against it....story has it that libnyug's cry was so terrifying that those who hears it are easily captured (spiritually) by it...refer to link above.  txoov siv yig was able to kill the libnyoog and thus we have "eat 30" or noj 30...referring to 30 dishes, 10 per day for 3 days.

after that, libnyoog's tongue was cut shorter....and it could still have a very devil cry...but story has it that it is not as effective anymore...and it only work on those who are "weak."
