Ajax616, your writings are inspiring (from glimpsing the 1st page).

I noticed you started this thread about 4 years ago and good you still kept it going.  A thought occur to me, how are you different today from the you 4 years ago, if any? Ex:  R u still optimistic?  became less?  became more? What have you learn about life these past 4 years that you didn't know back then?

An email from an outgoing co-worker....R. Miller

"Thank you man it was really a joy working with you and all the best in your endeavors man. You are designed for greatness just strive for excellence, put God first and he will do the rest. I will always remember you and if we don’t meet again on this earth we will meet on the earth made new."

Holding Back the Years
Simply Red
Holding back the years
Thinking of the fear I've had so long
When somebody hears
Listen to the fear that's gone
Strangled by the wishes of pater
Hoping for the arms of mater
Get to me the sooner or later
Holding back the years
Chance for me to escape from all I've known
Holding back the tears
Cause nothing here has grown
I've wasted all my tears
Wasted all those years
And nothing had the chance to be good
Nothing ever could yeah
I'll keep holding on
I'll keep holding on
I'll keep holding on
I'll keep holding on
So tight
I've wasted all my tears
Wasted all of those years
And nothing had the chance to be good
Cause nothing ever could oh yeah

I'll keep holding on
I'll keep holding on
I'll keep holding on
I'll keep holding on
Holding, holding, holding

It is said that Lao Tzu was leaving and was at the western gate before he was asked or persuade to write "The Tao Te Chinge." Was that a nice way saying that he was dying.

When others drink badly, we can refrain or drink, we have excuses for both.

When others hurt us badly, we can refrain or hurt others, we have excuses for both.

The choice then becomes clear...refrai n from hurting others as well.

Nature rests and grows through nights and days, winters and summers, then what if death is a resting of the soul as well.
