I have hear so many people talk about how good this or that food was a long time ago.  Since I am getting older, what if perhaps love is just like good food.  It is better in the past when we held a certain emotional attachment to it.

Pleasure is looking for an emotional past.

Love does not exist.

You can just do your best.

Each child has his/her own heart and mind.
In the end, your children would have to choose their own path.

The greatest gift is to let them choose and make their own mistakes without you criticizing.

I absolute agree.

Whether you are going or staying or sitting or lying down,
the whole world is your own self.
You must find out
whether the mountains, rivers, grass, and forests
exist in your own mind or exist outside it.
Analyze the ten thousand things,
dissect them minutely,
and when you take this to the limit
you will come to the limitless,
when you search into it you come to the end of search,
where thinking goes no further and distinctions vanish.
When you smash the citadel of doubt,
then the Buddha is simply yourself.
Daikaku

Indeed. The reality you inhabit is the perception of your own mind tainted by your culture, society, religion and personal experiences. The mirage of your life is the false sense of self, the identity that gets hooked and attached to status, people, ideas and materials.

And it jumps all the time, going from a newer car to a bigger house. The ego in that identity always desires more to ground itself because it is lost in all those things it is looking for.

It searches because it does not live, it is just alive, almost dead.

You must look with open eyes, without the past which is identity which is the ego.
You must look just in the moment without the noise of the world, with no thought. Only then, can you see true reality.

What if all our emotions, which drives our actions, are just programmings to make sure we survive and fulfill our purpose here on earth.

Emotions tell us we have much to learn.

Emotions tells us we still are dysfunctional beings.

But emotions also are part of the organic world.
It is ok to cry but only if it's in the moment of now and gone.

The one who is perfect does not cry, he/she is compassion itself. Compassion does not hold emotions. Compassion has no past is just in the moment.

Success is realizing you are dysfunctional and full of madness.

What if I was born in the Mountains of Laos (and died there) and never had a chance to come to the USA and never had a chance to know and accept Jesus Christ into my life.  What if then?  Would I be condemned to hell, because I never got a chance to be taught and accept Jesus in my life.  Would I be condemned to hell because I was born somewhere Jesus teaching didn't penetrate.

There lies the flaw.

Suffering didn't begin with birth and end with death

Suffering begins with " I in me " and does not end with death.

Suffering is a state of mind.
Suffering is not accepting the now.

If you are healthy, have food to eat. You should not suffer. Everything else is a luxury.

I am asking myself to be a giver, and not a taker.  I am asking myself to be kind to others and always wait patiently for the benefit of the doubt.  I am asking myself to put others happiness others desires, needs and wants ahead of mine.

I am not asking this for a higher purpose or reason or so that I may gain entry into heaven.  I am ask this of myself for the very selfish reason that doing so will make me the happiest in my daily life.  For it is when we desire things that we suffer.  It is when we take from others that we suffer.  It is when we put ourselves first that we suffer inside.  Therefore, for ever lasting happiness, just be happy and give all I can everyday.

Indeed. An action is judged by the intent and motive.

The action itself is irrelevant if the intent exists.

But to reach that goal, go to war against yourself, your identity, your ego.

"War is a matter of life and death.  This is the key principle." - from Sun Tzu

Death tells us what is material in life.
Life gives the opportunity to realize our true nature behind this organic form.

Life exists for us to become perfection.
Perfection holds no identity, no past, no anger, no emotion.
 Life just is.

"Affirmations are magnify if we use them in our dream state, because at that moment the Ego is asleep.  The logic mind is resting.  Therefore you have a perfect opportunity to program your future." - From Louis Hay

However many Success or Happiness words I write, or However many Love, Calm or Peaceful words I speak.  What good will they do me, if I do not act upon them. – Therefore I will practice and apply all the teachings of my “Inner Self Blue Print” everyday.

I wrote this a while ago, and I just came across while.
