You will never wake and be exceptionally good at something which is difficult. Somethings may seem easy, like playing poker or trading, but that is because you are failing to see the difficult emotional control it takes to win.  That emotional control and discipline comes from absolute understanding of the discipline required, which takes work and set backs and a genuine effort push forward. Therefore, you will never wake up and be great at something without work.  Luck has nothing to do with long term success.

Q12 Initial

A happy worker is a productive worker and it builds rapport.  A happy worker has fun and choices.  Therefore allow fun and give choices at work.  If I start, it will have those two attributes.

There's an old Hmong saying, allowing woman to hla hal yus tob hau makes everyone dumb.  Money is a beautiful woman that knows no loyalty, except who could woo her the best.  No wonder everyone becomes dumb when it comes to the temptation of money.

I had a friend who was a very good trader said "Trading is an art, not a science."  I actually wrote down the quote.  It is only recently that I realized that I disagreed.  Trading is a science, not an art. Trading is deal with and understanding social science.  Trading deal with and accepting statistics which is a science.  Trading is also managing your portfolio for money management risk, which is much more an science than an art.  Therefore trading is an science, than an art.

http://www.cnbc.com/2016/10/25/apples-tim-cook-were-returning-to-growth.html

In the hands of these managers, Apple will sooner or later become a so so company with a great history.  They will manage their product lines against the competitors for minimum risk.  Take risk, but take calculated risk.  In time Apple will become like IBM or less.  One should always innovate to excite the customer.  It is excitement that drives the heart.

It is actually funny how Tim Cook says "We're returning to growth." like a politician talking up a crowd.  Everyone is always returning to growth.  The question is what are you doing about it.

I am reminded that my marriage is no longer here, because it did not start out right.  Your marriage has stood the test of time, because it started out right and filled with love.  Most of the time I do not think about it, but sometimes when I hear the right song I am reminded that you are living a dream that a part of me envied from a long time ago.  For that I am happy for you.

Don't ever time wear you down.  It can only do so because you keep thinking you haven't had enough or if you keep wanting more.

In the end, only three things matter: How much you loved, how gently you lived, and how gracefully you let go things not meant for you. – The Buddha.
