“In the end, only three things matter: how much you loved, how gently you lived, and how gracefully you let go of things not meant for you.”
- The Buddha

fake Buddha Quote, but it sounds so good.

Thought of the day,

The power in the west overcome the might of Islam because it unleashed the freedom of others to think. It freed it's women to think as well as men.  Due to ancient teachings which may no longer have a place in the world, Islam is holding back  its women from contributing to the intellectual pool of its development.

Yesterday's thought of the day.

Our social evolution has led to a lesser need for a dominant male protector, but the protector remains like a Ronin.

The Ronin and the modern male protector.

I just suddenly realized why we fall in love and become blind.  We are lonely need companion ship.  We are crazy about passion (for us).  Put the two together and it fills the loneliness and at the same time, it meets our desire for passion for us as well.  No wonder, we get lost in love.

Omar Khayyam

Persian polymath, scholar, mathematician, astronomer, philosopher, and poet (05/18/1048 – 12/04/1131)

Be happy for this moment. This moment is your life

Myself when young did eagerly frequent Doctor and Saint, and heard great argument About it and about: but evermore Came out by the same door where in I went

The thoughtful soul to solitude retires.

The Impossible Dream

Andy Williams

To dream the impossible dream
To fight the unbeatable foe
To bear with unbearable sorrow
And to run where
The brave dare not go
To right the unrightable wrong
And to love pure and chaste from afar
To try when your arms are too weary
To reach the unreachable star
This is my quest
To follow that star
No matter how hopeless
No matter how far
To fight for the right
Without question or pause
To be willing to march,
March into hell
For that heavenly cause
And I know
If I'll only be true
To this glorious quest
That my heart
Will lie peaceful and calm
When I'm laid to my rest
And the…

Because Of Our Wisdom - Hafiz

In many parts of this world water is
scarce and precious

People sometimes have to walk
a great distance

Then they carry heavy jugs upon their
heads.

Because of our wisdom
we will travel far for love.

All movement is a sign of thirst,

Most speaking really says,
"I am hungry to know you."

Every desire of your body is holy;
every desire of your body is holy.

Dear one, why wait until you are dying
to discover that divine truth?

A Summer Song
Chad & Jeremy

Trees swayin' in the summer breeze
Showin' off their silver leaves
As we walked by
Soft kisses on a summer's day
Laughing all our cares away
Just you and I
Sweet sleepy warmth of summer nights
Gazing at the distant lights
In the starry sky
They say that all good things must end some day
Autumn leaves must fall
But don't you know that it hurts me so
To say goodbye to you
Wish you didn't have to go
No no no no
And when the rain
Beats against my window pane
I'll think of summer days again
And dream of you
They say…

My thought of the day:

Y = AX2 + BX + C is a simple Quadratic Equation, what if change the quadratic equation to become Y = AX1^2 + BX2 + C to differentiate the differences between X1 and X2, because we will be using different inputs.
A = Factor strength of the heart
B = Factor strength of intelligence
C = Physical strength
X1^2 *A = Results of the heart
X2 * B = Results of the mind
C = Results of the physical

The pull of the heart will have much more influence than the mind and the physical, because it controls their activity.

You are so amazing on many dimensions.  In fact, I had been waiting for someone like you for a very long time.  Maybe all my life.  I know you have been asking for me to give you a second chance.  But you see, I hardly remember anything good about our first journey.  I can't see any loving purity for me to hang on to.   I can't find a reason to put myself in those emotional states again.

A poem on on the joy and contentment of achieving clarity of thought

The Small Table Of Time And Space - Hafiz

I am a Golden Compass –
Watch me whirl.

To the east and to the west,
To the north and to the south,
In all directions I will true your course
Toward laughter and unity.

To everywhere I will deliver enlightenment
On the backs of camels, birds
And strong pilgrims.

Into every country
I will carry the Holy Names and dance
And dance.

 I am a Golden Compass –
Watch me sing and spin
Illustrious strands of lyrics and truth.

I am a divine Agent.
Your passage to light, your ticket,
May need my stamp.

My feet and verse are now ecstatic
And midair;
Just place your self beneath our leaping arch –
We will sweetly rain upon you.

Watch me whirl into nothingness
Your fears and darkness –
Just keep tossing them onto my golden plate.

I am a Holy Instrument always tuned by God
I live beyond every dimension.

I have been lifted drunk off the floor
In a Magnificent Tavern.

Now at my seat upon Divine Love
I gaze at Everything with brilliant, clear eyes.

I can so easily lean my cheek across this small table
Of time and space

And let you touch my beautiful laughing
Wooly beard.

Hafiz is an Emerald Compass.
My knowledge will put manna in your purse.

My only duty that now remains
 To this world

Is from every direction
To forever serve you wine and
Hope.

Hafiz is a Golden Skirt
The Beloved has lifted off a magnificent floor
And has tied around His waist.

Watch us whirl, whirl,
Whirl!
