A Palestinian State? yes or no?
« on: September 23, 2011, 05:41:01 PM »
What is your take on this debate?

My opinion.. If my country is as small as Israel and by separate it into two countries, given away one side to one of the most hated enemy, I would not do it. President Abbas stated that it would bring peace if the Palestinian have a country, but look at Lebanon, Syria, Jordan, and Egypt.. they all have their own country but they still hate the Israellites and even now days they still fight with them. Therefore, given the Palestinian a country along side of Israel would be a bad idea for peace.

I think what the Middle east countries are trying to do there is to push the people of Israel out of there so that they all can have the same kind of people, the same religion, and the same kind of government there.

its a most generous plan...

given that the palestinians were nice enough to welcome the jews to live in the palestinians' country(israel) in the first place... its the least the jews can do after raiding the palestinians' country and killing their people...

thats why the other countries hate the jews too...

palestinians = native americans...

jews = europeans...

they were not your enemies, they welcomed you in... they were your enemies after you raped their women, killed their children, and stole their land...

I believe every nation out there in the world today do not have a country to begin with. They all have to go steal it and traded many lives for it. If the Palestinian want some lands, they have to go steal it and trade many bloods for it. A few bombs here and there won't do it. They have to trade millions for it.

i was under the impression that you wanted to find a peaceful solution for the palestinians and jews...

then having a palestinian state wouldnt work because it doesnt require the deaths of millions...

I agree that there will be peace if the country is divided into two for the two oppositions. Those people are power hungry. If they can have their own land to keep their own power, they will stay put.

Give us Hmong a country and we will no longer protest.lol

I cannot understand why the US would be opposed to a state for the Palestinians.  I understand that the US has a lot of powerful, wealthy Jewish people who are pulling strings left and right but why would Obama in his right mind be opposed.  I thought as a colored man, he would be more understanding to the plight of the Palestinians.

This whole negotiation have been going on for close to 20 odd years and still no peace.  The feeling I'm getting is that Israel is trying to grab as much land as they can and settled on it to make it theirs since the Palestinians have no official claims to it because they don't have a state.

I believe it is the right thing to do to support the Palestinians in their quest for a state...

All muslim countries support the Palestinian. What does that mean? It mean they want to kick Israel out of the Promise Land. Prime minister Netanyahu is not stupid. He will never let the Palestinian cut his country into two and weaken his defense system. The Arab nations have so many lands that they can give to the Palestinian but they choose not to because they just want Israel out of the Promise Land.

The bible stated that in the future all nations will rise and protest against Israel from the four corners of the earth. Then God got mad so He send fire down to wipe out life on earth. If humanity do not behave and leave the Israellite people alone, this earth will be burn down to hell and life will disappear from the face of the planet. So I say, if you want earth to be burn faster, all go protest against Israel. It will just speed up the wipe out of humanity. The wipe out of humanity might be a nuclear war, who knows.

splitting the country will only lead to more strife in the middle east.  if the country is split, there will be 1) power struggle w/in the newly created country as well as w/in the old country 2) mass killing as "traitors" will be killed on both sides 3) once the countries have stablized from the internal strife (i.e killed all those who oppose them), they will turn their attention to the other country and try to "annex" it, as both countries was always meant to be 1.  so instead of having just internal strife w/in one country, the USA will not have to deal with two countries with two standing armies, waiting to kill each other, cause "GOD is on their side".

simple enough why it's a "no"

What makes it a Palestinian country? Were they borned into that country when no one was living there before?
The Palestinians don't want peace... their plan is to annex a country of their own so they can fight Israel.

that pretty much answers itself...

the jews were the ones that went into their country and stole their land... then they tried to kick the palestinians out...

and now the palestinians are just asking for a part of their land back to themselves...

so the ones who want to keep the war going is actually the jews... they started it and they dont want to end it...

They just need to stop being stupid and live in peace.

If they can't they need to just all out fight and get it over with.

The Palestinians have as much right to a state as anybody.  Give them their state afterwards if they still want to fight just fight them.  If the Jews want to take over the whole are they need to stop half assing it and just do it.

If there are really people in the region that do want peace then they better make their voices heard.

Before a legitimate discussion can come out of this, you have to have some kind of understanding of how Israel was created. Before the formation of Israel in 1948, more than 80 percent of the people living in modern day Israel were Palestinians (meaning non-Jews). The land of Israel was pretty much given as gift to the Jews by Great Britain and the West with total disregard to the Palestinians as if they were animals.

To understand how the Palestinians feel, imagine the Chinese in the United States wanting half of the United States as their own. The Jews went further than that. They occupy almost the whole country of Israel, control just about everything, and slaughter the Palestinians like animals (with weapons supply by the U.S.). Just imagine the Chinese doing this to white American citizens.

The palestinian want a country and weapons. What does that mean to Israel? I think Israel would split the country if the new Palestinian do not wish to exercise military powers or build any weapons at all.

Like I said above that every country in the world today are once was taken from someone else. So if you want a country you have to fight for it and many blood and lives has to be sacrificed in order to get it. The Palestinian didn't do enough. What they should have done is to call all men from the age of 16 to 60 and fight the Israel in battle and hopefully the U.N. will divide the country for them. But all of them may die before they get a country.

the jews have no right to deny them that right...

the palestinians didnt deny them that right...

then trying to get a country for themselves is consider fighting for it... maybe its too peaceful of a path...
