PTSD
« on: September 30, 2011, 01:20:28 PM »
Last year, there was a traumatic fight, in which my brothers and nephews beat up a MBS very badly in our front yard. Not to mention, my brother pulled out his gun. People were scramming from the party like ants; girls were crying and screaming.

The next day, his crew surrounded our house with guns, looking for my oldest brother and my nephew.

Since then, I've been having nightmares, crazy gruesome, vicious, nightmares of rape, murder, slicing up people with knives, killing monsters and demons, brutal bloody beatings.

May I be having Post Traumatic Stress Disorder?

No, you can't be diagnose simply bec of dreams.  Ptsd is a disorder in that after one year, you still suffer emotionally like fear, flash backs, scared to go out, etc, because of an event that happened.  It must affect you mentally to a state of physical distress.

Seek help, relocate, or just get rid of that person(s).  :knuppel2:

Well, I do avoid crowd, especially places with gangs or people that  I assume is gang related 'cause they look all torn up.

Being surrounded by strangers with guns can absolutely traumatize any civilian's sense of security.  I know I would be having nightmares.

Does your brother still live with you guys?

Yes, he still lives here.

He had sat up a video surveillance camera with an alert system.

Nope, that is natural because you see trouble coming.  If you start to panic and get paranoid over just any group of people hanging out, bec you think they are out to get you, then yes.

PTSD is usually accompany with suicidal thoughts and helplessness.. .-don't want to do anything, go anywhere, keep thinking about the horrible things over and over...usually feeling guilty or bad as well. Always angry, felt used and taken advantage of.. think everyone hates you, or going to hurt you...yeah.... it's a psychological disorder.

that's what my cousin told me...he had it...he was in the armforce and was sent to Iraq 2 times before he got out...he must had seen some horrible stuffs...he was in when the war was at it's most dangerous...mi d 2000's. I think if it weren't for his newborn kid, he would had taken his own life if nobody was there to stop him.
suicidal and helplessness?  He's got a coexisting depression.  He needs to be treated for ptsd, depression, and immediately for suicidal ideation.

Wow, I think it's time for yalls to move or kick your brothers from your house.

I mean seriously?!?!  This day in age and hmongs are still acting like that?!?!  I bet they're like in their late 20's too huh and even maybe early 30's.

I dont' know how hmongs can't look at themselves and not see how fu.cked up their lives are and change it.  OH wells.

Any case, he should've shot the dude if they were going to come back like that.

How do you feel about your brother?

i also have brothers that always get in trouble like, i love them alot but u won't be able to change them until something really bad happens...but i would also have nightmares if a bunch of gang memebers came to my house..also if my mom was there i think she would have a heart attack she is very scared...but i'm not scared because i want peace...i'm not scared if I die because if it takes something like that for your family members to realize and to stop gang banging...u should have ur brother watch the one hmong movie made by MyKurt Lor...it's called Txiv Nplooj Siab..it is a very sad movie because it portrays the son as a bad son and when he dies he regrets everything and the time that he could spend with his parents..i want my brother to watch this one so that maybe he will understand why our parents tell and yell at them so much to be a good person..even when i watch it feel so heart broken and have tears coming because i don't want this to happen to anybody i know
