If you were to wake up tomorrow and found out that money, jewelry, and precious metals (gold) and gems (diamond) are worthless, which group of people will most likely go insane first? Those so-called respectable middle class who always stress on hard work and savings or the wealthy ruling elite who (used to) have most of the money and control most of the wealth? And why?

Of course, the working class and the poor would probably just laugh and think it's funny.

too hard to say for just the middle or high class... those who highly value money, jewelry, and precious metal are valuing them for mental issue reasons... so even if the $$$ were to become worthless, the mental state will still be there... (lord of the ring: creepy skinny guy smeagol...)

the group that will be most affected by it would be those who rely on them to live their high life lifestyle...

everyone else will just be relieved like reporter... lolz...
