afterlife.....all i'm saying is that if your church preaches so much about brotherly love and christianity then you shouldn't be excluding those who repent etc. 

in that case scenario, i being the devout christian would hire simply because i trust in the Lord to watch over my store :)

Yo, I don't exclude them in my church, we only exclude them through position the role model in our church. If you're a murder, then it will take a long time if you want to be a youth pastor in our church. If you want to be a sunday school teacher, that also goes with the youth pastor rule as well. However, if you don't want to be anything, that is fine with my church and at least stay with us for awhile for some rehabilitation until you could show to us that you can bring your trust to the people who are in the church (That is if you want to be a leader for the kids, teens, or old people; however, no higher than the pastor).

God's children will continue to be God's children.  They are given free will.  Churches should respect that and allow them to come to their father and repent. ;)
