Just because they are your friend, doesn't mean they don't have to pay the price of their choices.  All you do is provide them support... and support doesn't always mean agreeing.

what if they want you to support them buy chopping up the body and burning it and then taking it somewhere deep in the wood to bury and since you said you will support them you'll have to help them.

Look, that just means you have some crazy @ss friends who need help.  Maybe instead of getting that far, you could have been the one listening to the problems before it even got that far. O_O

what if it was in self defense because the police officer is a crooked cop that framed your friend and tried to kill your friend but now they killed the police officer and they're on the run now because the Mexican cartel thinks that your friend was involve in a bad drug deal and the FBI are out to get him also now and you're the only last hope they have to prove their innocence?
