I've spent years on that subject...one can only conclude rationally that it is impossible for something to come from nothing.  It is that SIMPLE.  It defies all known laws of science.

Really, how about spontaneous combustion? Quantum physics has shown that "things can come from nothing." It's been observed and it does not defy the laws of nature. Spontaneity is a natural process.

Spontaneous combustion is a process of atoms taking other atom's electrons, which can cause explosions, or splitting of the atom which disrupts it's electrons.  

Where does the quantum physics shown things came out of nothing?  Where is your references?  That would defy all the laws of pyshics itself and refer it to being magic.   Magic and miracles defy the laws of physics.   You are talking about converting something or destroying something, and out of that comes out something different.   Physics said, "Matter can not be created or destroyed, it can only be converted to one form or the other."

I'd say that modern-day Atheism is a cult. It's no longer just a position that an individual holds. More and more atheists are coming together in groups, voicing their opinions in places/forums devoted to atheistic views, and even designating some atheists as a sort of spokesperson, if not someone to follow. Such persons have even set up tenets for atheism, the way religious leaders have in the past and currently do. I would not be surprised to see Atheism be fully organized in the near future like many of the big religions out there.

It's like when people used to just believe in god and there was no such thing as creeds, doctrines, etc.
