I used to always listen to my dad every year when it was time to hu plig tshiab peb caug but of course the words always seem so foreign to me. I should make it an effort to really pay attention to what's said....

Did you have any luck finding something simple?

My husband and brothers they all regret that none of them learn to "hu nplig" or anything from their father now that he is gone.

When my fil was still alive we all just do it together but now each son has their own shrine in the house.  Were the only one that hasn't got one set up in our house (we move into our new house and I had a spot for it but look like it won't be there any time soon) and beside were too distant away from everyone and at the same time my husband is not a big believer in doing everything unless necessary.
