Thank you LadyLioness.    Bad boys think they're all that.  But, they're really boring.  One time this guy friend of mine, his girlfriend cheated on him and so we were talking.  He was really angry, and he said some things to me that made me understand why guys are so bad sometimes.

He said, I have always been a good guy.  I've never done anything wrong, but why did it have to happen like this.  I should just be bad.  All the bad guys don't have these kinds of problems. 

Of course, I told him to think it over, not worth it.  That kind of talk.  Anyway, he started acting like a jerk afterwards and being cold.  Not the same person he used to be.  I lost respect for him (because he was being weak minded!!).  They only act like that to protect their injured heart.

It's not that good guys should be bad or become jerks.

The only point I wanted to bring up was that I see a lot of men impose fear into their spouses in order to have that sub-conscious control over them. For example, they tell them that they're going to leave or find someone new if their spouse doesn't submit to their commands and advances.

Being in that type of relationship is very manipulative and unhealthy for you as an emotional being. But, yet I see women fall over and over again for these type of men who abuse their privileges by causing a women to be afraid for losing him if she doesn't comply to his every order.

Women like jerks because they are hardcore wired. Nice guys are too soft & sensitive. Why did all of my ex wanted me back because they told me that nice guys are too soft & sensitive & are boring. Then I told her to f*ck off!!

Why do women like jerks or seek for those things that make them happy or high for a moment as they repeatedly get hurt all over again? My explanation is that they don't appreciate or know when a guy is genuine anymore and can not tell when an unconditional gift or "love" is sincere.

I believe only very few women can tell when a guy is truly being sincere or not. That's why I also believe in finding a mate that has similar backgrounds or a tough childhood because they're more appreciative of the wonderful things they have in life. They have to work harder for survival and learn to be content with what they have.

It's like dating a rich girl who already has everything, what more can she want that other people hasn't already given her? Does she have a kind character? How was she brought up? Has everything just been given to  her? Or do birds of a feather flock together; i.e., if you're rich, you hangout with just the rich folks.

Women date jerks, who try to impress them with their money, good-looks, vanity, etc... but at the end never feel satisfied.

I think they've been blurred and confused with vanity that love is a transient feeling which comes and goes.

I don't think it's true... people are forever changing... that's why I stop trying to figure people out and just accept them for who they are... there is no way to really know what a person is feeling... you can only see a person for the things they do and things they say... That's what some people don't get some times... feelings are not always important... what it really comes down to is... how the other person treat you... letting emotions overwhelm you is the first thing that will end the relationship.. . and some girls just doesn't get that... If you really do love a guy don't let your emotions get in the way of being with that person that you love...  I hope you get what I mean...

I disagree with you SpottedCow.

Here's my take on good guys.  Speaking from experience, my ex is one of those "good boys".  We were together for years and he's the funniest and sweetest guy I've been lucky to be with.  Outgoing, popular, good morals, doesn't drink or smoke, doesn't use profanity.  A real gem.  

Never once did he mistreat me.  And, I've never seen him brag about me but ALL his friends tell me in private how he keeps talking about me non-stop and saying how I'm the most wonderful woman.  Even females he worked say the same thing.  I found a secret photo album he carried in his pants pocket one time and they were all pictures of me and a few him.  I was so embarrassed that I went through his pants (I was doing laundry ok), I never told him.

You say good guys are boring, but I didn't ever find him boring.  We laughed a lot and high five'd each other a lot.  One time we seriously argued at a fancy Chinese restaurant until our meal came and then high five'd each other for our slick comebacks.  Another time he was smiling way too much to himself so I asked him what he kept smiling about; it was because he came up with a scheme for his next prank victim.  We were the "people's couple" so many people liked us and looked up to us.

Long story short, he's still a sweetheart and we're still close friends.  But, you know what he wasn't though, A DOOR MAT.  If he didn't like something, I'd know real quick (and I respected that).

So, SpottedCow, I think you have mistaken good boys for a door mat.  Obviously... No one wants a doormat (or a socially awkward person either.)

Good feelings lead to good actions, bad feelings will eventually lead to bad actions. That's all it is!

We should just accept everyone for face value because we don't know how eachother's true background. But always be on guard for those that will take advantage of you.

You have a point.... I feel like I've been dating a guy for the "high"... but it turned into something serious well for me at least it was. Your post makes me think about being a wiser woman in chosing the next guy.  Someone who shares the sames likes as I do and hoping he and I can discover more about each other as time comes our way.  I dont know if I'll be ready to jump into a relationship so soon.. but a woman like never last being single for too long.

Because women like jerks and mate with them to produce more jerks.  In another word, jerks are more successful in reproductions than non jerks.   To be successful some non jerks learn jerking skills so they can improve their chance with the opposite sex.  I tried being a jerk and out is near impossible.  I don't even know how to swear.

That is correct.  Jerks use women like hmong men use pigs and cows for meat.  Do you think they feel bad for the pigs and cows the slaughtered?
