Every culture has some food/dish it's proud of. For Hmong?
« on: December 10, 2011, 06:13:23 PM »
Among many are the following famous ones:

The Japanese are proud of raw fish.

The Koreans are proud of kimchee.

The Thais are proud of pad thai or curry.

The Norwegians are proud of lutefisks.

For the Hmong? Should we be proud of ntshav ciaj? No shame about it, folks!

Should the Hmong be proud of that and keep telling the world about it?

Haha...I saw some being sold at our local Cambodian grocery store. Raw ones, that is. But you can certainly roast them up...I may do that this summer.

Lots to be proud of, huh?

Don't you mean kua siv taum? Tofu or taum fwv doesn't smell at all. If you think tofu is smelly, you probably are too sensitive.
