WOW.  I don't even know what to say anymore.  We came here for freedom.  Now you're going to take it away?

Basically, if they suspect that you are a terrorist, they will detain you and strip you of every right you believed you had.  This applys to everyone in this country.

Also, you can watch this.

Interesting.  Obama could just declare the republicans candidate as terrorists and have them shipped to an unknown destination.

It's still just a bill. I don't know if it will pass the Senate. Plus, do you think Obama will sign that?

Call your two Senators and tell them not to vote for it. If it fails at the Senate, it won't go to the Prez.

Is this the bill you guys are talking about?

http://www.guampdn.com/article/20111217/NEWS01/112170305

Looks like the Senate passed it too...

Read the bill...
As passed, the 2012 bill includes language in Section 1032 stating the intent is not to change existing common law, such as Hamdi v. Rumsfeld and Hamdan v. Rumsfeld, which ruled that lawful United States citizens have the right to challenge their detention before an impartial judge and military commissions (such as those at Guantanamo Bay) lack the power to proceed, respectively. Citizens of the United States are statutorily excluded only from the "requirement for military custody" in Section 1032, which provides the executive branch discretion whether to indefinitely detain U.S. citizens within military detention centers, or alternatively in the Federal prison system. Full text of S. 1867 as passed.
