Getting to know someone right before the Holidays!

Okay, you've been talking to this someone for quite awhile now but haven't met yet. And right now it's the Holidays, but then it appears to be they're not talking back with you and gone silent right before Christmas? Is it because they don't want to give you a gift? Or they don't care about you during the Holidays?

You’re just thinking too much. Holidays are indeed best spent with loved one but don’t take it too wrongly if she should distance herself from you at this time of year. Maybe the girl just ain’t eye-to-eye with you in terms of where your relationship stands yet. Take it slow or else you might just scare her away. If she’s not ready to meet, just take it and be patient. Usually she’ll fall through once she’s comfortable.

Since you mentioned it, are you expecting a gift from her?

no... but i did mention giving her something... now i have it with me, but will have to give it to her after New Years.

jon_jon how long n how well do u know this "potential" mate? it sounds as if ur n deep n it though she may b bz w the holidays n her fambam n friends...howe ver, if a girl does not like u...she will w/draw. depending on her personality... there r those that r blunt n brutally honest while others r 2 nice n will pick up ur phone calls n text u regardless bc they don't want 2 come off hahay n rude.  i dunno ur situation nor ur relationship but if she truly is not interested then let it b n wish her the best. if she's sincerely just bz, then carry on. however, if she is still processing ur status then as stated b4....give her some space n time....perhap s w the new year u'll get ur answer--whatever it may b. good luck mister!

thanks... i'll carry on. i believe she's still processing the situation and since it is holidays she's busy with chores, family gatherings, and most likely working OT... i hope she's really doing ok, and not sick, or having any health problems...

I admit I'm distance cause I'm spending time with my family, and going on vacation, but that doesn't stop me from texting or talking to the guy/s I like. I may be a little busy, but I'd communicate when I can.

u'noe.. that's right, i mean even on a busy day you can still text a message and say you're ok? right, why make the other person worry so much. man.. i gotta stop worrying about this and turn the table back around.
