Wausau Area Hmong Mutual Association sued by 50 members

More than 50 members of the Wausau Area Hmong Mutual Association have filed a lawsuit against the organization, alleging it improperly removed a board member, according to court documents.

The civil lawsuit was filed Nov. 28 in Marathon County Circuit Court and named 13 defendants, including the organization's executive director, Peter Yang, and board of directors president, Chawa Xiong.

The lawsuit alleges that the board of directors voted June 5 to remove Xiong C. Lor from the board, according to court records. The lawsuit said only members of the Lor clan can remove Xiong C. Lor from the board.

The lawsuit asks a judge to find that Lor's removal was improper and reinstate Lor to his position on the board.

Even if he is reinstated wouldn't it feel awkward to work with co-workers who voted you out?

Why does someone want to work for free for and with people that hate you?  I don't get it....They must be making lots of money under the table for people to go through the court system to sue each other....just the same way as Lao Family in MN.....I just don't get these people... It is not like that is your high pay job!... :idiot2: :o
